Product description: POFEX®EP8400X210C is a Sioplas Method silane cross-linked insulating material with EP8400X210A as the base material and EP8400X210B as the catalyst

Main application: Wires and Cables ≤3kv

Cross-linking method: 1mm in steam (≥95℃) or hot water (95℃) for 2 hours, can reach 70-80% thermal solidification.

Material mixing ratio: EP8400X210A and EP8400X210B are fully mixed according to the ratio of 19:1

Features: Excellent electrical insulation and extrusion performance, fast cross-linking speed, and frequent extrusion.

Instructions

1. Ensure that the screw barrel of the extrusion machine is clean;

2. EP8400X210A and EP8400X210B are fully mixed according to the ratio of 19:1;

3. After the extrusion machine maintains the set temperature for 2-3 hours, production starts.

1. It is recommended that the ratio of length to diameter (L/D) of the extrusion machine is between 18:1-30:1;

2. It is recommended to use a squeeze tube head, and use 1-2 pieces of 40-60 mesh for the screen.


Instructions

Cross-linking method

1. The crosslinking speed is related to the insulation thickness, ambient temperature, and ambient humidity;

2. 1mm in steam (≥95℃) or hot water (95℃) for 2h, it can reach 70-80% thermal solidification.


Adding method of color masterbatch

1. The color masterbatch can be mixed and used after baking at 70℃ for 3-4 hours. The recommended amount is within 0.5%.


Packaging/Storage:

1. EP8400X210A has a net weight of 23.75±0.02kg and is packed in aluminum foil bags + polyethylene film bags;

2. The net weight of EP8400X210B is 1.25±0.02kg, and it is packed in kraft paper bag + polyethylene film bag;

3. The product must be used within 24 hours after the package is broken;

4. EP8400X210A and EP8400X210B need to be used within 8 hours after mixing;

5. The product should be stored in a ventilated and dry warehouse to avoid soaking in water to absorb moisture. The storage period is 12 months.
